Draw ball coupling
A tow ball coupling is located on the drawbar of your trailer and connects it to the trailer hitch of your vehicle transporter. The task of the towing ball coupling is to prevent yawing (lurching) and an increase in the natural resonance frequency, which enables higher towing speeds. Damping is achieved by friction on the ball head of the trailer coupling. Force is transmitted between the friction pads and the ball head by springs.
