Power accumulator
The force accumulator ensures that the brake shoes are compressed in the overrun brake. From ALGEMA FIT-ZEL you get spring accumulators, which are driven by gas and a force accumulator of the company Knott. When released, the cylinder of the energy accumulator is filled with gas. This tensions the spring and during a braking process the cylinder of the energy accumulator is vented. The spring relaxes and presses the brake pads against the brake drum.
